Enriched Air Nitrox
Safer, longer and more frequent dives.
Program Overview:
Breathing compressed air has its limits and recreational diving is always planned within the limits of decompression; Enriched Air Nitrox helps to significantly increase those limits, in a very simple and safe way, by reducing the amount of Nitrogen in the gas mix which is the limiting factor for time spent underwater. Nitrox or EAN, is air which has been enriched with a higher percentage of oxygen than normal air. Diving with Nitrox allows for safer, longer and more frequent dives.
This is one of the main reasons why Enriched Air Nitrox is the most recommended specialty once you have obtained the Open Water Diver certification. Diving with Nitrox allows you to increase your bottom time, especially important when you intend to do more than one dive a day and at a depth of more than 18 meters.
This specialty course is available as a non-diving specialty programme, or as a diving specialty programme with the addition of 2 boat dives.
