RESERVATION OF COURSES AND RECREATIONAL DIVING:

For the activities you wish to participate in with Calero Diving, it is recommended that you reserve your spot, but it is not mandatory. If you do not reserve your spot in advance, it will be subject to availability. If you wish to secure your spot for any of our activities, we require a 50% deposit upon reservation. The remaining 50% of your total purchase must be paid before starting your booked activity. The 50% deposit is non-refundable.

INSURANCE AND MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS:

Divers are required to have medical insurance that covers the activity they will be performing and a medical certificate valid for a maximum of two years. If the diver does not have insurance that covers diving, we offer the option of acquiring diving insurance or extending it to a broader range of activities.

It is each diver’s obligation and responsibility to hold their diving certification corresponding to the diving level for the activity they will be performing. If they do not have the appropriate certification, or the dive leader of the activity deems that for any reason the client is not qualified to perform the activity, Calero Diving will refuse admission.

The information that the user provides to Calero Diving upon registration will be treated in accordance with legal standards and obligations, as well as with appropriate security measures to protect the information from any alteration, loss, use, or unauthorized access.

You may unsubscribe from our database at any time. To do so, you will need to send us an email explaining why you want to remove your information from our database.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL:

For contracted diving services, the belt, weights, and 10, 12, or 15-liter air tank are included in the established price. The rest of the diving equipment is not included. If you wish to rent all or part of the diving equipment, it is recommended that you reserve it in advance of your arrival to guarantee availability. It is the diver’s responsibility to return the equipment to the dive center in the same condition as it was delivered. In the event of loss, Calero Diving may claim payment for said equipment from the renting client.

Please note that, for any course, introduction, or museum day package, the cost of equipment rental is included in the price of the course or activity.

GROUP RESERVATIONS AND CONDITIONS:

Special conditions apply to Dive Clubs and groups of 10 divers. We offer private boats for groups with a minimum of 10 people. If, during the scheduled dive, some of the divers in the group decide not to participate in the booked dives for reasons beyond Calero Diving’s control, the responsibility will fall on the group and not Calero Diving. In these cases, payment for all booked dives is mandatory.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

In the event that a diving course is booked and cannot be completed for reasons beyond the company’s control, the course fee cannot be exchanged for dives. In these cases, if the theoretical portion of the course has been purchased and/or delivered, it cannot be exchanged or refunded, nor can it be used in exchange for dives.

Any changes or cancellations to a reservation must be submitted in writing and confirmed by Calero Diving. Cancellation fees will be applied according to the date and conditions of the reservation cancellation:

• All money paid for services contracted with Calero Diving will be refunded in the event of cancellation of the activity by the dive center, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
• All money paid less 10% of the total for administrative fees will be refunded in the event of cancellation of the activity by the diver if the cancellation is made within 5 days of the activity. If the cancellation is made 4 days or less before the scheduled activity, no refund will be issued.
• In the event of a medical condition, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded to the person with the medical condition only if they present documents proving their medical condition, whether temporary or permanent, that prevents them from diving. If medical evidence is not presented, the deposit will not be refunded.
• If the services were contracted through a third party and the activity contracted by that person cannot be carried out, they will not be entitled to compensation.

Once the client is on board our vessel, the money will not be refunded if the activity is cancelled.
