Ready to Dive In?
Know how we operate our daily boat dives from Puerto Calero. This guide walks you through everything from your arrival at the center to your return after your dives.
At our dive center, we offer two guided boat dives every morning, Monday through Saturday, designed to provide you with the best underwater experience in Lanzarote.
Schedule and Pick-up
We ask all divers to be at the center by 8:30 a.m. If you are staying in Puerto Calero or Puerto del Carmen, you can request our free pickup service. The exact pickup time will be confirmed upon completing your reservation.
Arrival at the Center
Upon arrival, we will introduce you to your guide for the day and escort you to the equipment area, where we will provide you with everything you need for your dives. All our guides are certified instructors, and our groups are small, tailored to your experience level.
Briefing and Boat Departure
Before setting off, we’ll give a detailed briefing covering the dive site, marine life, and safety protocols. You’ll know exactly what to expect underwater. Once ready, we’ll head to the boat and depart from the marina at 9:00 a.m.
Dives in Calero Diving
First Dive – 9:00 a.m.
We begin the day with the first dive at 9:00 a.m., heading by boat to a carefully selected dive site based on sea conditions and diver experience.
Surface Interval – Puerto del Carmen Harbour
After the first dive, we return to the harbour for a surface interval of approximately one hour. During this break, you’ll have time to relax, hydrate, enjoy some drinks/coffee, and discuss the highlights of the first dive with your guide and fellow divers.
Second Dive – Around 11:15 a.m.
After resting and changing the tanks, we do the briefing for the next dive site and set off on a new adventure to discover.
Return to the Dive Center – Around 1:00 p.m.
After completing both dives, we return to the dive center at approximately 1:00 p.m., where you can rinse off, shower, and relax in our comfortable facilities.
Each dive lasts up to 60 minutes, depending on air consumption and dive plan. Our team makes sure that all dives are adapted to your level of experience, with small groups and certified instructors guiding you at all times. After diving, you can use our changing rooms with hot showers to relax and wash off the salt of the day.
