Become a Certified Diver

Program Overview:

The Open Water Diver course is your first step into the underwater world as a certified diver. During this 3 day course, your Instructor will teach you the fundamentals and basics of diving, including equipment techniques, safety protocols and safety skills, both underwater and on the surface. You will complete a minimum of five confined water sessions and four open water dives, to a maximum depth of 18 meters. You will also have classroom based theory sessions and a final exam.

During the last two dives of the course, we will take you by boat to different dive sites around Lanzarote, so that you can fully enjoy what you have learned in your previous course sessions and see what the amazing underwater world has to offer.

Upon completion, you will receive your first certification as an autonomous diver, which will allow you to dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 18 meters!

You can always register for the course in advance and you will receive all of the theory content online so that you can start reading and familiarizing yourself with the concepts of diving before you even arrive.
Your Open Water Diver certification does not expire, and it is the first step to be able to continue your training as a diver.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years old
Ability to swim 200 meters without stopping, and tread water for 10 minutes
