Program Overview:

This complete package combines React Right with Diver Stress and Rescue, giving you both the emergency response foundation and the in-water rescue skills every serious diver should have.

This combo is one of the most valuable training packages a recreational diver can take. It helps you recognise stress early, prevent incidents before they escalate and respond more effectively both in and out of the water.

React Right gives you practical emergency care skills such as primary assessment, first aid, CPR, oxygen administration and AED use.

Diver Stress and Rescue then builds on that foundation by teaching you how to recognise diver stress, prevent problems from escalating and respond more effectively if a situation develops for you or your dive buddy.

Together, these two certifications make you a more prepared, more aware and more useful diver — and they are also an important step toward further training such as SSI Dive Guide and Divemaster.

Training standards

• Duration: 4–5 days
• Includes: 1 day React Right, 3–4 days Diver Stress and Rescue, digital learning materials and SSI React Right + SSI Diver Stress and Rescue certifications

Requirements

• minimum age of 12 years and SSI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
