Program Overview

For many divers, wrecks are among the most fascinating dive sites in the ocean. Exploring a sunken vessel combines history, marine life and adventure in a way that few other dives can offer.

Over time, wrecks often become artificial reefs, attracting marine life and creating unique underwater landscapes full of detail and character.

The SSI Wreck Diving specialty gives you the skills and knowledge needed to explore wrecks more safely, confidently and with greater awareness.

This course focuses on non-penetration wreck diving. Entering enclosed areas inside a wreck requires additional advanced training and should never be treated casually.

• 2 training dives, digital learning materials and SSI Wreck Diving certification

• Equipment rental and diving insurance

• SSI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
