Program Overview:
SSI Try Scuba is the perfect first diving experience — your very first time underwater, and very likely not your last.
We’ll introduce you to the diving equipment, the basic rules of scuba diving, and the most important underwater hand signals.
After the introduction, you’ll begin with a dive in very shallow water, where you can get comfortable moving and breathing underwater in calm, easy conditions.
Once you feel comfortable, we’ll continue the experience in slightly deeper water — still easy, controlled and suitable for beginners.
The local bays are easy to access and full of marine life, from schools of reef fish and barracuda to rays, nudibranchs and even angel sharks.
