TDI Advanced Mixed Gas CCR

The Advanced Mixed Gas CCR course is the highest level of Closed Circuit Rebreather training that TDI offers. The course is designed to meet the needs of certified TDI Mixed Gas CCR Divers (or equivalent) looking to extend their depth limitations. The Advanced Mixed Gas Course will teach you how to use the full capabilities of a CCR. With a maximum depth of 100 metres the course opens up a whole new realm of diving including new wrecks, caves and walls to explore in depths you previously could not reach on a rebreather. This is an intensive course conducted over seven dives focusing on all the elements needed to plan and execute dives to such depths.

A particular emphasis of this course is the importance of team work including awareness of buddy and other team members through communications, proximity and team oriented dive practices, team bail out procedures and team sharing/swapping of off-board bailouts.

• The TDI Advanced Mixed Gas CCR course costs €2500 (plus all gases at cost) and includes seven open water dives. The course can be completed in five days and is open to any diver holding the required prerequisites.
