Program Overview:

Good underwater navigation makes diving more relaxed, more efficient and much more enjoyable.

The SSI Navigation specialty helps you build the skills needed to navigate underwater more safely, confidently and independently.

You’ll learn how to use both natural references and compass navigation, estimate distances more accurately, and leave and return to a planned point with greater precision.

Strong navigation skills don’t just help you avoid getting disoriented — they also improve your awareness, your communication with your buddy and your overall control during a dive.

• 2 training dives, digital learning materials and SSI Navigation certification

Requirements

• Minimum age of 10 years and SSI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
