Punta Gines

Just 5 minutes by boat from the dive centre lies Punta Ginés, a shallow volcanic reef of around 18 metres, where lava formations have created unusual mushroom-like shapes that provide shelter for abundant marine life.

The site’s shallow depth allows sunlight to illuminate the entire seabed, creating exceptional clarity and beautiful colours throughout the dive.

Large schools of fish such as grunts, sea bream and blacksmiths are frequently seen here, together with species like angel sharks, rays, moray eels and barracuda. The reef is also home to smaller highlights such as anemones and nudibranchs.
