Known by a variety of names including wrecks and caves, Pecios and Punta Berrugo, this is many people’s favourite dive area in Playa Blanca. This site has so much to offer that it is usually split into two separate dives Pecios Nuevo and Pecios Viejo. Here you can visit the small cave where resident moray eels live or explore the remains of one of the two small fishing vessels that sunk in this area.

One of the features of this area are the small swim throughs and crevices that can be found throughout. Wherever you go you are almost certain to see large schools of bream and barracuda and be sure to look under the reef ledge for one of the many rays that can be found here.
