The Las Coloradas reef is the longest single reef in Playa Blanca and contains two separate dives sites Coloradas one and Coloradas two. At a depth of between 12 to 18 metres, these two sites are perfect for both novice and experienced divers. You can experience diving through the Coloradas archway or coming up through the top of the reef via a small cave within the reef.
One particular feature of the reef is that being relatively narrow it is very easy to explore both sides of the reef and to cross from one side to the other. In addition, as the reef runs in line with the shore it is well protected from the current and is home to schools of Barracuda and Bream as well as sting rays and Angel sharks.
