Program Overview.

If you want to take the next step in your diving education, the SSI Dive Guide program is your entry into the professional world of diving. This course is designed to develop your leadership skills, allowing you to guide certified divers and assist instructors during training programs. Throughout the program, you will expand your diving knowledge, improve your situational awareness and gain the confidence required to professionally supervise diving activities. During the course, you will complete practical training sessions focused on dive planning, guiding certified divers, risk management and group supervision. You will also learn how to deliver effective dive briefings, improve your underwater navigation skills and ensure safe and enjoyable diving experiences. The SSI Dive Guide program is ideal for divers who want to turn their passion into a profession and work within the diving industry. At the same time, it represents the first step toward becoming an SSI Divemaster and progressing to higher professional instructor levels. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be qualified to guide certified divers in open water and assist instructors during training. This course helps you develop leadership abilities, refine your diving skills and gain valuable practical experience leading dives.

Requirements

Minimum age: 15 years
Open Water Diver certification
Diver Stress and Rescue certification
Minimum 40 logged dives at the start of the program
