Program Overview:

The CCR Extended Range program builds upon skills and techniques learned as a basic rebreather diver by increasing depth and duration, introducing decompression, and adding more complex skills. Training is available using either JJ-CCR, SF2, rEvo, Liberty, AP Inspiration or Poseidon rebreathers.

The CCR Extended Range certification qualifies you to conduct decompression dives to a maximum depth of up to 40 meters using an air diluent.

Duration:

• 5 days

Includes:

• 1 confined water session
• 6 training dives
• Sofnolime
• O₂
• Tanks
• SSI CCR Extended Range certification

Does Not Include:

• Equipment rental
• Diving insurance
• CCR unit rental

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years old
• Minimum of 30 logged Extended Range dives that require a stage cylinder and decompression
• Have the certifications for SSI Deep Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox and Extended Range Nitrox Diving or equivalent
• Valid medical certification from within the last year (no self-certification accepted)

OR:

• Minimum 30 logged hours on the applicable unit
• Have the certifications for SSI CCR Diving or SCR Extended Range or equivalent
