Program Overview:

Thanks to the SSI Basic Diver program, you will be able to learn the basic concepts of diving and then take your first breaths underwater with a dive, applying what you have learned at one of our wonderful dive sites, to a depth of 12 meters.

We start with an explanation of the most important principles and aspects of scuba diving and afterwards, a dive is carried out at a very shallow depth, where you will have the opportunity to see schools of fish, barracudas and more marine life whilst you practice your buoyancy.

After a quick break and some refreshment, we head back into the water for a second dive, to a maximum depth of 12 meters. This dive, you can relax and enjoy the wonders underwater as we take you on a tour of one of the popular dive sites in the area.

After completing the Basic Diver experience, a temporary diving certification is provided. It has a validity of 6 months and allows you to dive with a professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters. It also allows you to continue your training to become an Open Water Diver, as the dive from the Basic Diver is credited towards the full certification.
