Program Overview:

The SSI Basic Diver program is your first real step into scuba diving — combining theory, practice and two dives in a single experience.

You’ll begin with a short introduction to the basics, followed by a shallow dive where you’ll practice breathing, movement and buoyancy in calm conditions.

After a short break, you’ll head back into the water for a second dive, where you can relax and enjoy a guided tour of one of the local dive sites.

At the end of the experience, you’ll receive your SSI Basic Diver certification in digital format.

This certification is valid for six months and allows you to dive to 12 metres under the direct supervision of a professional.

It also counts towards your Open Water Diver course and gives you a head start if you decide to continue your training.
