The SSI Open Water Diver course is one of the most widely recognised dive certifications in the world and Calero Diving is an ideal place for you to become a certified Open Water diver. During your Open Water course you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including the use of dive equipment and dive techniques. You become an Open Water Diver by completing five confined water dives and four open water dives to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

Once you are a certified Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional anywhere in the world. If you find that you love scuba diving, as many people do, you can choose to continue your dive training and progress to become an Advanced Open Water diver or more.
