Meg15 CCR – Unit Information and Training
The ISC Megalodon 15 CCR, more fondly called “The Meg 15” is a CCR system that has been embraced by divers of all skill levels around the world. The Meg 15 rebreather is a flexible unit that can be integrated with several types of electronic systems, scrubber sizes and types, gas supply cylinders, harness and BC assemblies. This versatility of design means that the unit can be configured to meet any level of diving and keep pace with the divers skill levels. Standard configuration options include the mini meg and cave meg. For more information on options click here.
Fundamentally the Meg was designed for the most demanding dives with consideration for the diver and their needs. The Meg addresses not only the basic requirements of performance that a true 3rd party tested CCR must undergo, but also other considerations that are often not considered, such as travel concerns and conducting repairs in remote locations.
The design of the Meg meets fundamental design requirements established by the creator Leon Scamahorn, Founder and CEO of InnerSpace Systems Corp, in the USA. InnerSpace Systems is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company and the only one like it in the USA at this time. ISC is a custom CCR manufacturing company that designs systems to meet customer requirements.
Pathfinder CCR – Unit Information and Training
The Pathfinder CCR is an ultra lightweight travel-friendly closed circuit rebreather featuring ISCan Electronics. IScan™ is the next generation electronics developed by Innerspace System Corp to power the Pathfinder rebreather. IScan is a Controller Area Network system based upon proven ISO standards used in the automotive aerospace and defense industries IScan is a digital network designed to allow independent devices to communicate and interact with each other. Handsets, HUDs and various sensors can operate independently and in concert to increase safety, redundancy and to reduce single points of failure.
The Pathfinder features a split shoulder lung system designed for enhanced water trapping and a reduced work of breathing. The pathfinder can either be used with twin mounted cylinders (2 or 3 litre) or with a single mounted oxygen cylinder and an off board diluent.
