Hotel Costa Calero Diving Center

Rubicon Diving’s newest dive centre is located within the Costa Calero hotel in Puerto Calero.  The hotel is in the centre of Puert Calero just a few minutes away from the marina where our dive boat is moored. Puerto Calero’s location close to Puerto Del Carmen means that we can collect customers from hotels and accommodation in both locations. From Puerto Calero dives to the Quiqere wrecks and Puerto Del Carmen can be easily accessed by boat. As part of the Rubicon Diving chain we can also offer dives in Playa Blanca from our main Marina Rubicon dive centre. The Costa Calero hotel is 4 star rated and our dive centre is of a similarly excellent standard. The centre, recently acquired by Rubicon Diving, has undergone a full refurbishment and redecoration and is by far the largest and most luxurious in the whole of the Canary Islands.  The centre has in excess of 400 sq. meters of purpose built facilities to suit all types of diving and includes; multimedia classrooms, ladies & gents changing rooms with hot showers and a wet area with dedicated tables for photographers and rebreather divers. We also have a modern filling station offering pure air that goes through our multi-filter system. We can also supply Nitrox & Trimix for more advanced and technical dives.

The hotel has three large swimming pools including a training pool that is only a few steps away from the dive centre. During the winter months we also have access to the hotel’s heated swimming pool which makes our training sessions there even more enjoyable.

Rubicon Diving is an official Mares, Aqualung & Apeks partner dive centre and as part of our refurbishment we have a full range of brand new equipment available for your comfort and safety. Our equipment includes top of the range Apeks regulators for technical and sidemount diving. We are also a fully licensed service centre with an in house technician and can provide servicing for most brands with guarantee. We also are a legally approved visual inspection centre for tanks.
