Program Overview:

The Technical Extended Range Trimix diving program builds upon skills and techniques learned as an SSI Extended Range Diver. During this program, you will go beyond the no-decompression limit by increasing your dive depth and duration. The Technical Extended Range Trimix diving program provides avid underwater explorers with the training necessary to independently plan and conduct mixed gas unlimited decompression dives to a maximum depth of up to 60 meters.

This course can be completed in either a Backmount or Sidemount configuration (Extended Range Sidemount certification is needed if you wish to use sidemount).

Duration:

• 6 Days

Includes:

• 1 confined water session
• 6 training dives
• Digital materials
• SSI Technical Extended Range certification

Does Not Include:

• Equipment rental
• Diving insurance
• Helium supplement

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years old
• Minimum 70 logged dives, 20 of which being deeper than 30 meters and 10 dives requiring staged decompression with at least one gas switch (not including training dives)
• Have the certifications of at least one of the following: SSI Extended Range, Full Cave Diving or Technical Wreck Diving or equivalent
• Valid medical certification from within the last year (no self-certification accepted)
